Point Malcolm Lighthouse was built in 1878 at the narrows between Lake Alexandria and Lake Albert, South Australia. The light housekeeper sold vegetables to the passing ships. They stored the vegetables it in a small cave near the riverbank, the cave can be seen in this photo.
