Video uploading - Mac freezing?

My Mac is only about 6 weeks old, but freezes every time I try to upload a video. This has happened when the video is not large enough. Is this an issue with my new computer or is anyone else...

I downloaded the so-called 1920 x 1281 pixels photo https://pixabay.com/bag-buying-carry-customer-cute-15841/ and it is actually 1920 x 1280. Is this a pixabay bug?
